Account ApprovalAlpha Card Services approves 99% of their merchant applications the same day. Accurate and complete applications are essential for same day approvals. If the completed merchant application is sent to us by 3 pm PST (6 pm EST) the merchant will be approved the same day. Completing an ApplicationEvery merchant application should be filled out entirely; every field must be filled out. Our underwriting department does call verifications to every new merchant applicant. A primary working business phone number must be used on the application, not a cell phone number or answering service. If underwriting is unable to contact the merchant to verify their business, this merchant will be approved on A-14 status. It is imperative that the average ticket, highest ticket and monthly processing volume are accurate; this data is used for risk management. Inaccurate data can result in funds being held or possible termination of the merchant account. Please make sure all completed fields are legible; for your convenience we have an editable PDF application and are highly recommend in place of a handwritten application. Verification CallsOur underwriting department places a call to every merchant that they receive a merchant application. These calls simply confirm the information written on the application such as address, ticket information and how the business is operated. Submitting an ApplicationMerchant applications can be submitted Alpha Card via fax or e-mail. Please fax merchant applications to 215-494-0088 or email to underwriting@alphacardservices.com. A-14 ApprovalWhen our underwriters place a merchant account on A-14 approval it simply means the merchant can process normally. If the missing data isn't received or the verification call is not completed within the 14 day period, the account will be put on 100% hold until they are. |
